The gods are long dead, and yet the earth still feels wet, almost as if their blood has seeped into the very soil. Elvar is of noble birth, a fact she abhors. So instead of following in her father's footsteps, she tries to make a name for herself among the notorious Battle-Grim, hunting those with godly blood running through their mortal veins. The third one is a former thrall and goes by the name of Vard. His life is anything but easy, but now that he has found a place within the Bloodsworn, it is time to seek retribution for the death of his sister.
