Table for One

This novel follows the journey of a woman in her 30s navigating life after a long-term relationship ends. It’s about restarting, finding and loving yourself, and redefining your own value. While I really liked that message, I couldn’t fully enjoy the book. The whole Gen Z versus millennial thing felt a bit off and weird. Maybe it's because I'm in-between the generations and can't really connect to the millennials nor Gen Z. But honestly, I couldn't really connect to Willow and her friends as well. I also missed bigger character developments which was kind of sad, given how the story IS about developing yourself. It got better in the last quarter, and I really liked the ending, but that wasn't enough for me to truly love this story. The book didn’t grab me the way I expected it would. But I love the cover!
