Dixie Flatline and Johnny Silverhand would've been chooms
Every William Gibson book is worth reading, but ''Neuromancer'' is definitely the benchmark for the cyberpunk genre, and sometimes I wish I could just shove it into the hands of every sci-fi fan I know, because that's how good it is. Gibson works a lot with imagery, which is needed to visualize the gritty world the story takes place in, and the images he paints here are simply great. Get ready to follow low-life Henry Dorsett Case and his crew while they jack in, crack some ICE, and dive into cyberspace, all the while trying not to get flatlined like a bunch of gonks. Enjoy!
