Nothing is what it seems
Cas returns to his home after three long years, the plague had changed many things he once knew. Because of this he worries about his brothers whereabouts. When he arrives at said home he is stunned to see the members of the royal court esecially his king and queen. And with that there are some unforseen suprises. This book contains everything I love: action, mystery and a teeny tiny lovestory all in a fantasy setting with a medieval character and a male protagonist (which has become pretty rare). The plot is quite easy to follow, but not predictable and it never gets boring. It's about coming home, healing and the chance caused through catastrohies. Such a great book that deserves far more attention.
