Last Call at the Local

Last Call at the Local follows the traveling musician named Raine, who faces an unexpected setback when her guitar is stolen. But what is a musician without her instrument? How will she earn the money she so desperately needs? Where will she stay? And who will she meet along the way? This was absolutely adorable! It felt cozy and homey to read about this pub and the people spending time in it. Special mention goes to Sebastian, the best floof (he's the pub cat). As a neurodivergent person, I loved how I was able to see myself in both of the main characters. There were definitely some flaws in the story, I feel like. The ending honestly also fell a little short for me, but overall, Last Call at the Local was a heartwarming, sweet read!
