Love in the Time of Serial Killers

The title, as well as the cover, are just adorable and so intriguing, that I had to get it. And it started off real well, it's funny and relatable and I loved the fact, that she's so positive,in her neighbour being a serial killer. For the first time, I actually enjoyed the pop culture references, because I recognized a lot of them (personal success haha). Then it all went down. I missed the humor from the beginning, this whole paranoia about serial killers. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BROTHER PROPOSING. It just ended as a cheesy romcom and that's just too boring, in my opinion. I was expecting a lot more, another plot twist with him, actually being a serial killer... something like that. Turns out, it didn't get any better than the first sentence.
