As the Lunar New Year draws close the Special Investigation Department is needed once more. This next case leads them once more into the hospital of Dragon City where patients seem to come down with a strange illness. So even after Shen Wei finally agreed to their relationship, Zhao Yunlan is still unable to enjoy their time alone. Desperate Situations call fpr desperate measurements after all, especially when another one of the four hallowed artifacts makes its appearance. Will they be able to keep each other save or suffer an unescapable fate? And how will Zhao Yunlan deal with the revelations of his past unfolding infront of him? Once again this seres constantly kept me on edge with its suspense and amazing humor! Had enough to laugh and cry and the characters get more interesting with every page! The first book was a little bit hard to get in, which i think was entirely resolved in the second volume. The story was much more understandable and I had a very enjoyable read. Can't wait to finish the third one.
