A Lonely Broadcast Book One

If I could, I would probably do a radioshow about this book. I just had so much fun with it. The rural feeling, the quiet uneasiness and the sudden, massively amped up moments of shock made for a great time. Even though there are some holes in the worldbuilding, for me all of this was made up by an amazing atmosphere. With the lonely radio tower and the two main characters performing well together, you get this feeling of an uneasy routine that could break at any moment. While most of this first book is rather quiet and calm, there are more than enough moments where the horror turns loud and graphic, drawing from ideas of folk/rural-horror and not sparing any detail. The mixture of creepy uneasiness and strong imagery was truly exciting and had me hooked pretty fast. Everyone who is open for horror and has a strong enough stomach absolutely needs to try this novel! Thank you for tuning in for my review and hopefully see you after part two.
