Ob es jetzt wahre Poesie und echte Gedichte sind, darüber kann man wohl streiten oder vielleicht ist es das auch nicht. Dennoch hat es mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen, für mich war es ansprechend und berührend. Das Hauptthema sind ihre toxischen/gewaltätigen Beziehung und es ist manchmal schon hart. Manche beschreiben es auch als zu edgy/ zu teeniemäßig wie auch immer. Aber das ist eben ihre Art damit umzugehen und es vielleicht zu verarbeiten? Wie gesagt es wird definitiv nicht jeden ansprechen

This Collection of poems is giving you insight in a life that is haunted by suppression, trauma, violent relationships and the fear of saying no. Megan Fox was voted Prettiest Woman Alive and proves us that beauty doesn’t save you from bad things happening, you may even attract them. She’s brave by opening up and writing about her life like that. It is important to be psychologically strong when you start reading, put the book down when it gets too close to you and continue when you digested everything. I hope this book makes you stop and think before you start judging people. You never know what they are going through.

Honest & Vulnerable

This was actually not as bad as I thought it would be! Of course, Megan Fox is not a great lyricist and a lot of the poems read like notes scribbled at 2am. Nevertheless, I was very surprised about the honesty and depth, which Fox was able to put into these short poems. She addresses a lot of serious and traumatic issues like domestic violence and miscarriages. I am not entirely sure if the poems should be read autobiographically, but some of them were indeed quite insightful and inspiring! And to be honest, the title is simply iconic!!!
