Expiration Dates A Novel

Daphne receives her entire life notes containing names and time information regarding the duration of her relationship with her Dates. But on the newest note, there is just a name called Jake. What does that mean? I loved the idea behind this story a lot. I did, however, wish for a different implementation. All chapters begin with a name and time information. So you know as the reader how long every relationship, which are present in the past, will last. Because of that, there is not really suspense. Only Jake's Storyline is in the present. As a reader, I think I would have liked it more, when I would have discovered the meanings off the notes with Daphne and not hear from it like it’s just a fact about her. Nonetheless the story has great turns and is a beautiful story with a lot of depth. I discovered so many beautiful quotes in this novel, which I needed to copy in my book journal.
