Broken Knight

Broken Knight by L.J. Shen is the second book of her All Saints High Series and I looooooooooooved it so much! ❤️ I'm definitely happy that I continued the series, although the first book wasnt for me. Can someone explain to me WHY I'm crying like a baby now? OMG, it was just PERFECT! Luna Rexroth and Knight Cole know each other since they were kids. Best friends for life... until life changed them and turned everything upside down. But is this really the end? Or is there any hope left? The friendship of Luna and Knox is intense and special right from the beginning... until they're not really friends anymore. OMG, this relationship?! A complete phenomenal roller coaster ride! ❤️ After Luna's birthmom left her as a little child, Luna stopped to speak. From now on Knight was her only support she got. But college separated them, and both had to deal with different challenges... I went through all of the emotions while I read their special love story! ❤️ I fell in love with them right from the start! But there were also times where I got frustrated. Completely. And then even infuriated! But then, I swooned again. And swooned some more! Well, I also cried. A lot. Oh my... it gets sooooo emotional!!! I loooooved their personal developments and the ending of this book. I devoured it and it totally touched my heart. ❤️ If you love second chance romance with lots of ups and downs, friends-to-lovers, rich kids vibes, drama, heartbreak, intense emotions of every kind... Broken Knight is for you. Thank God, I continued with this series! Best decision ever!! Thank you so much to L.J. Shen and Bloom Books for this ARC via NetGalley. *Broken Knight' is the second in L.J. Shen 'All Saint High' series, but unlike it's predecessor 'Pretty reckless' I am not completely convinced. The relationship between Knight and Luna is definitely TOXIC! I did not like it at all. Both of them are dependant on one another so much, they completely crumble to pieces when separated. Luna leaves for an out of state college, while Knight has to finish High School and both can't get their stuff together. It's so ridiculous - and I'm all for the laughs and giggles. Knight finds out Luna has given her V-Card to someone else and he loses it. He swears revenge and honestly it's just so frustrating how stupid their actions are and how they try to justify them. It's painful to read through their thoughts and think 'how easy it would have been solved, if someone would just tell them TO JUST GET THEIR STUFF TOGETHER!!' I don't know if i would read this book again, but I will read the rest of the series.
