The Battle Drum A Novel

I already loved "The Final Strife" and was scared to start the sequel because my expectations were very high. But "The Battle Drum" did not disappoint! The world expands so much here which is great. In many fantasy novels the expansion of the world in book 2 feels a bit forced but here it felt naturally woven into the story. I loved the characters, I loved the queer representation and I loved how all the little details from the narrative fit together at the end. If you like political fantasy, magic systems with blood or just badass female characters I highly highly highly recommend this book series!
