Betting on You

Betting on You by Lynn Painter captured me from the very first page. I often found myself smiling, as the book is genuinely funny, yet it also tackles sensitive topics with a thoughtful touch. I instantly connected with the characters, they truly grew on me. For me, this book delivered exactly what I was looking for: a classic teenage rom-com with heart and humor. I especially loved how Lynn Painter developed the relationship between Charlie and Bailey. From best friends who still have feelings for their exes to a romantic couple. The pacing was just right: not too fast, not too slow, simply perfect. Charlie and Bailey share the perfect dynamic, making every scene lively and engaging. All in all, Betting on You is a charming, entertaining read that makes you laugh while also tugging at your heart. A definite must-read for fans of sweet, well-written young adult romances!

This is probably my favourite YA Lynn Painter book and that says quite a lot since she is one of my favourite authors. Very cute and lighthearted, Charlie did slightly annoy me at first but throughout the book I fell in love with him. I also really liked the anxiety respresentation.

This one took me a while to get into but I guess I'm just a sucker for Lynn Painters YA RomComs! If you want a swoon-worthy story that will make you giggle, laugh out loud and kick your feet in the air, then you should definitely read this one!

At first I wasn't convinced and Charlie annoyed me a little. However, as I kept on reading I caught myself laughing out loud and rooting for these two! Lynn Painter knows how to write romcoms and I love it <3

EIne süße fake dating Romance. Baily und Charlie sind beide mit ihren problemen beschäftigt, helfen sich aber gegenseitig. Charlie hat mich mit seinen sarkastischen und lustigen sprüchen für Ihn eingenommen. Baily eine tolle und starke Persönlichkeit. Ich habe mit Baily und Charlie mitgefühlt bis zur letzten Seite. Lynn Painter hat es wieder geschaft eine tolle romcom zu schreiben.
