Current, important, necessary...
There are many examples of fascist attacks on the educational system and historiography - both in the past and in the present. And because of that Jason Stanley sets out to analyze these attacks and all of the similarities between the developments in countries like the United States, Russia or India - and in the end tries to show a way to stop them. It is a good and important book, although Stanley seems to lose his focus here and there. Nevertheless, he manages to provide an overview that's essential and definetely worth your time. A book that should be read - no matter what.
