A dark, gothic tale filled with secrets, prophecies, dangerous creatures, and dark magic. You're immediately catapulted into Imogen's story and her fate as a siren forced to hide from the world and her kingdom. The book starts with a bang, promising a great deal from the rest. And yes, the book is thrilling and exciting from beginning to end. A captivating and well-crafted atmosphere, combined with an interesting and multifaceted plot. The romance between Imogen and King Theodore fits perfectly into the story and the plot – it was even more prominent than I expected, and I really enjoyed it. I thought the two of them had great chemistry. The cliffhanger at the end of the book wasn't particularly surprising to me personally, but it definitely makes you want to read book two! I hope the suspense and the vibe continue in the second book and provide another fantastic reading experience!
