Sci Fi excitement

I've never been a sci Fi reader, so I had my doubts about starting this series. However, the prose of this book makes it extremely enjoyable to read, the characters are written well, and even if you don't always follow the scientific explanations you can still follow the plot and happenings. The beginning is the toughest part of the book, where it feels like you can't be sure who you are even following and what the point of it all is. But if you stick with it, you will get scenes that will shake you to your core.

I’m hooked

I never thought I’d get hooked on sci-fi, but “The Three-Body Problem” completely blew me away. This novel captivated me, not only because of its gripping story and perfect blend of science, mystery and social criticism but also because of its brilliant world building! Cixin Liu created a universe that’s so detailed and complex, it felt like it actually exists. A perfect beginning for an amazing trilogy!

I am confused but I had a great time

This book is definitely hard to get into, especially if you’re not super into physics and theories about space (like me). I could not really connect with these characters and the time jumps were oftentimes rather confusing. Having said this, I still had a great time with this book and the theories that are interwoven in this story; I actually learned a lot and can now brag with my (still limited) knowledge about the three-body problem!!!
