Wow!! This book completely blew me away. I honestly didn’t expect to love it as much as I did, but it might just be one of my all-time favorites now. The story was gripping from the very first page and delivered everything I crave in an MM romance: tension, angst, emotional depth, and a relationship dynamic that feels fresh and addictive. Aviel Vegas and Kyran Harbor absolutely hate each other. Becoming stepbrothers overnight is bad enough, but being forced to live under the same roof? Even worse. The way they bicker and push each other’s buttons is hilarious, but also layered with something deeper. And when their families suddenly lose all their money, Aviel and Kyran are faced with a choice: give up on their futures… or team up in a way no one would expect. Their solution? Avi and Kyran are polar opposites. The weed smoking artsy guy and the straight laced football player cant do anything besides fight. But when money gets tight and rent is due they have to work together and get "creative". Its so toxic and heartbreaking that I just couldnt stop reading. The tension between those two grows so much further then sexual and I often missed that in a lot of romances Ive read recently. In the end you really believe, that these two can overcome eveything.
