Brutally Honest, written by Shari. It contained a bit less info than I first thought, but from her point of view, totally understandable. I've heard about it all from YouTube since it reached the German channels. I remember watching it while doing other work but ending up too stunned to continue what I was doing. The same feeling returned when reading this book. Shari shares a good handful of what happened and how she felt about it. Now it's not a fun story; it was horrible reading it, and every time I thought, "This can't get any worse," it got worse. It's still unimaginable what happened to those poor children, but it also shows that not everything you see on the internet is really honest and how easy it is to fake perfection. And I would recommend everyone to read this book because of that. After following this topic for a while this book felt like a good way to end this chapter. I wish all the children just the best.

Shari's memoir is a powerful and heartbreaking account of what really happened. It also serves as an important reminder of how valuable privacy is and how damaging the pursuit of social media fame can become. I could not put this book down. It is an emotional, eye-opening read that I highly recommend.
