Every Bookshop Needs a Cat

Amane Morikawa has inherited the second-hand bookshop of her estranged grandfather which grants her a new chance at working with books after her publishing company had to close down. Back in her hometown of Onomichi she learns to find the good in what life gives her. And it is the cats living in the town and its shops that help her find a new path for herself again. --- This books feels like a warm hug, accompanied by the comforting smell of old books and a purring cat here and there. While short, this book with its reflective narration and almost bittersweet nostalgia will definitely stay with me for a long time to come. It can remind you that being lost in life is just part of the journey. I'll definitely be reading this again and again!
