Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

As a certified classic, this book is basically a must read if you're interested in horror literature. This edition contains not only the title story, but also additional short stories and an analysis of the personification of the mysterious Mr. Hyde. With a detailled and vividly imaginative writing style, this book immediately takes you onto the streets of London and into the unravelling story. The setting is ordinary and unsettling at the same time, creating an eerily creepy atmosphere that doesn't let go for the entirety of the story. This could also be a great stage play, since most of the story is told via dialog or internal monologue. Everyone interested in non-gore horror and horror in general should give this a read, for it is a progenitor of this genre itself. Definitely a little highlight!
