Aight, sooo let me tell you I never actually help a book as exciting and captivating as this book. The book itself might not be for an every day read, but I highly advise you atleast give Stephen King a chance, in case you haven't already. Stephen King manages to portray and mimic human behavior and speech so well that I myself was scared of Annie Wilkes while reading and never had a book I devoured, not just because I liked it, but about also because I had to know what happens next, and skipping to the last page does not do that. There are so many intricate details laid out throughout the book that you begin to doubt yourself as to whether you would have survived Mrs.... Miss. Wilkes.

What a pageturner! Every once in a while I need to read another Stephen King and this one has been on my wishlist for so long! I loved the whole concept, especially getting the writer's perspective. Paul Sheldon, best-selling author, gets rescued (kidnapped) by his number one fan Annie, and because that's not enough, he then finds out that she's out of her mind. So basically he dared killing off Misery, a character from his series, so obviously he has to rewrite the whole book... I just loved the writing process and it kind of felt like watching King writing this story. This may come as a surprise, but it get's quite brutal. And absolutely horrifying. Another perfect King.
