Oh my ... I might actually start to like the plot

I have heard from so many people that this book is the best of the whole series and I have to admit that I understand why. I really didn't like the story-telling of Maas in the first book but oh boy was I wrong to judge too quickly. Firstly, it amazed me how Maas describes mental disorders I have never read a book that went into the darkest corners of a character's mind like this and I really enjoyed it. Secondly, the plot started to develop so fast and every time I felt that the plot was starting to "falter", Maas dropped another plot twist. Nevertheless, I hope that this is not the best book of the series since I would be very happy to continue this thrilling journey.

After reading a court of thorns and roses I was already expecting a lot from this book, especially with all the tik tok‘s I have been seeing about this book. And even with my almost impossibly high expectations this book managed to surpass them all. I even gave myself some time before I review it to have a more grounded opinion, but it hasn‘t changed at all. Everything about this book is perfect and I am so excited to contiune reading this series. If high fantasy, fairies and romance is your thing, this series will not dissapoint you and I highly recommend it!

Feyre´s and Rhys´ lovestory bloomsto into something so heartwarming and captivating! This book is by far better than the first one. The plottwists and new characters are even more complex than the ones in Acotar and reappearing characters personalities get even more depth!

Never stop fighting, Feyre!

Nachdem Feyre den Spring Court und ihre große Liebe Tamlin aus den Klauen Amaranthas befreit hat, kann sie nun endlich mit ihrer neuen Familie nach Hause an den Spring Court zurückkehren. Allerdings ist die Zeit unter dem Berge, an der neu geborenen High Fae nicht spurlos vorbei gegangen und auch Tamlin verhält sich zunehmend merkwürdiger, je näher ihre Hochzeit rückt. Und zu allem Überfluss hängt auch noch der Deal, den Feyre mit Rhysand in ihrer gemeinsamen Zeit unter dem Berge eingegangen war, wie ein großer Schatten über ihr. Auch ich kann nicht anders, als den zweiten Band einfach nur in den Himmel zu loben. Es gab lange keine Jugendfantasy Reihe mehr, die mich so sehr gefesselt hat, dass ich gar nicht mehr aufhören wollte zu lesen. Natürlich gibts auch ein paar Kleinigkeiten, die mich immer an Jugendfantasy stören, allerdings zählt Feyre als Protagonistin ausnahmsweise mal nicht dazu. Tatsächlich ist genau das Gegenteil der Fall, da Feyre schnell zu meinem absoluten Lieblingscharakter geworden ist. Tamlins Entwicklung im zweiten Band, finde ich persönlich einer sehr spannende Wendung und ich hoffe wir bekommen in Zukunft noch etwas Einblick aus seiner Sicht der Dinge. Auf jeden Fall erfüllte "A Court of Mist and Fury" alle meine Erwartungen und sogar noch ein wenig mehr als erhofft.
