Creepy and dark
It's been a while since I read this book, but I still remember the eerie feeling it gave me. The story was so dark and eerie but at the same time alluring and tender. I totally loved it!!! When I saw this book at the store I wasn't sure whether I should buy it, but damn, I'm really glad I did! -

The blurb doesn’t quite capture the essence of this book. At first glance, I expected a fantasy novel, but it turned out to be a thriller with a strong dose of fantasy vibes—which I ended up loving even more! While the pacing is slower than I anticipated, it doesn’t detract from the story’s quality in the slightest. House of Hunger is dark, atmospheric, and brimming with mystery, making it incredibly gripping from start to finish. If you’re in the mood for a chilling read that’ll send subtle shivers down your spine, this book is a perfect choice! -
