A Truly Magical Journey
I absolutely loved every single part of this book. The writing is beautifully lyrical and richly descriptive, making it incredibly easy to get lost in the story. The world feels like a modern fairy tale, filled with magic, wonder and enchantment. I also adored the characters and the romance was simply beautiful. The slow-burn development built the tension perfectly, making every moment feel even more rewarding. From beginning to end, this series felt truly special to me and has become one of my all-time favorites. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy and fairy tale inspired stories. -

This is definitely worth the hype!
Evangeline's story is captivating and soooo good. Desperate to get her first true love back, she makes a deal with a fate: The prince of hearts. Something that should never be done, because fates always want something bad in return. But time reveals the fate needs Evangeline as much as she need(s)ed him. I loved this so much. I had to immediately start the second book and lets just say: it gets even better! -

This book is undeniably a masterpiece. Kind of want to ditch the real world and live in the Magnificient North as well. I love Evangeline and I too would make a deal with a fate if he was Jacks, can´t blame her. This was my first fantasy read ever and definitely not my last from Stephanie Garber. -
