The Book of Hope A Survival Guide for Trying Times

This was an inspiring, hopeful and fascinating read. Don't be intimidated by Jane Goodall being a scientist. This book is easy to understand and to follow. It is written from two humans with good hearts and intentions to another. Very insightful and the proof that all hope is not yet lost. <3 I learned a lot from this book. Not just about hope and my view and understanding of it and the world around me, but also about Jane Goodall (may she rest in peace, I hope she is having the best adventure wherever she is right now).

This book should be required reading. Jane Goodall is one of the most inspiring humans, especially when it comes to the restoration of our ecosystems. This novel gives insight into all the positive developments and the four main reasons why there is still hope. It inspires the reader to take action—because we must. In a world full of racial discrimination, hate crimes, thirst for power and the biodiversity loss, it can be hard to see the good and to dare to hope for a positive outcome. This book can give you just that: hope. So yes, this title is true to its contents.
