Was the first Book already really...
Was the first Book already really good, the Sequel topped it. The writing style is the same as in the first Book. It`s calm and unagitated. But I flew through the Pages. All felt like coming home. But you will definitly need a few tissues. One of my Highlights this year. -

Simplicity at its best
I loved revisiting the Morisaki Bookshop and all its characters. While seeming quite ordinary, this emotionally moving story is everything you'd want and more. It's simplicity at its best, but it also shows the power of books and how to deal with grief and sadness (and people...). This book is full of warmth, growth and heartbreak. What I like most about bookish books or Asian Literature in general, is that reading them always feels like a hug. -

Cozy and a bit sad
The second book around the Morisaki Bookshop was a bit more deep than the first one. The protagonist Takako questioned the relationship to her boyfriend and some complications with her uncle's wife came up. Some things were a bit sad, but it was nevertheless a wonderful book. -

This one was just as cute and cozy as the first one. I listened to the audiobook while cleaning my apartment and felt so good afterwards. I think every booklover will love these stories and feel so calm and realxed afterwards! -
