A must read for everone that dreames of opening their own bookshop and those who just need a break. We accompany Yeongju on her journey to open her own bookshop, after getting burned out at her old job. Over time we get to know some of the lovely customers, staff and neighbours that make a home out of this small bookshop, for everyone willing to open their heart. Reading this book feels like drinking your favourite cup of tea on a rainy day.

This book is a perfect example of the "Slice of Life" genre. We follow Yeongju through the days at the bookshop, while getting to know different characters in the process. There isn't that much of a plot, so I'd say it's something for readers that choose books based on vibes and don't expect a complicated storyline.

Melancolic, yet hopeful and cosy, this novel will give you comfort while you follow the paths of different characters struggling with life, while finding comfort in good coffee and the presence of books.
