Weird, unique and comforting

Ransom Riggs genuinely is a comfort author of mine. I loved this so much. I don’t know, but there is something about his books that make them so unique? Not just the ideas, but the entire feeling of reading them. The premise was intruiging & diving into it definitely didn’t dissapoint. The characters are likable and relatable & already felt like found family. This was weird and original and I’m so here for Vol. 2 ♥

Welcome to Sunderworld! This is probably the strangest story ever but surprisingly it worked. It worked for me, to step into this strange world, that's both a 90's TV Show and reality, without getting terribly confused. Which is extraordinary. In this story, we follow Leopold, the most average child existing, who started to see weird things since his mother's death. Until one day, when he's given a token to actually enter this world he always saw on TV. That's when the magic begins. And the weirdness. Amazing concept and I loved the retro cover. I'm BERRY excited for the next installment!
