Finding Delaware

Here I thought I hate the stepsiblings trope at it's core, turns out I can not only enjoy it but actually totally love it! I think the most important thing for me is, that they didn't grow up together, they became stepbrothers in their last high school year if I remember correctly. The romance is still VERY toxic but I loved that that was acknowledged and the book is pretty much about the characters trying to break free of the toxicity! I just loved both the characters so much even if I wanted to grab them by their shoulders and shake some sense into them more than just once - very flawed but still very loveable!
