INHALT Wenige Wochen nachdem Avery unerwartet ein Erbe in Milliardenhöhe erhalten hat, ist nach wie vor unklar, weshalb Tobias Hwathorne ausgerechnet sie ausgewählt hat, zumal sie erwiesenermaßen nicht blutsverwandt ist. Gemeinsam mit den Hawthorne versucht sie weiter, die Rätsel um die Pläne "des alten Mannes" zu erkunden und stößt dabei auch auf die Vergangenheit ihrer Mutter. MEINUNG "The Inheritance Games - Das Spiel geht weiter" ist eine würdige Fortsetzung der Reihe um Avery Grambs und die Hawthornes. Die Rätsel und Geheimnisse beginnen weitläufiger zu werden und es treten neue Widersacher auf, die den Spannungsbogen hoch halten. Die Charaktere bekommen weitere Tiefe und die Hintergründe werden immer klarer. FAZIT Gelungene Fortsetzung der Reihe, die einen die Figuren noch näher und immer mehr Licht ins Dunkel bringt.

New secrets to unravel and mysteries to solve. Just as addicting as the first one, the story continous where the first Book ends. Personaly this Book as a whole seems more like a filler for the third one, but i still enjoyed reading it. Very exidet for "the Final Gambit" and how everything will come to an end.

Avery Grambs, still reeling from inheriting Tobias Hawthorne’s vast fortune, is drawn deeper into the world of the Hawthorne family as she searches for answers about her own past. The novel keeps up the momentum of the first book with fast-paced chapters and a steady stream of clues, codes, and betrayals. The love triangle between Avery and two of the Hawthorne grandsons adds plenty of tension, though it never fully overshadows the core mystery. One of the highlights is watching Avery grow more confident and strategic, learning how to navigate the dangerous game she’s been thrust into. The revelations about her connection to the Hawthornes bring satisfying payoffs while still leaving plenty of threads dangling for the finale. But all in all, the same issue i had with the first book, it couldnt hold my attention all the way through.
