Denial is a river in Egypt

I, as many others have read this book and spiralled into a hopeless loop of denial and tears. “They both die at the end” guarantees what is said and yet you grow so attached to these characters that it's almost humanly impossible to just accept the truth. It grabs your attention and doesn’t let go until it's too late. A book you wish would go on forever, that hurts in the best way possible. In my opinion a modern classic that perfected the way it uses your own hope against you.
