another perfect mis(t)ery
What a pageturner! Every once in a while I need to read another Stephen King and this one has been on my wishlist for so long! I loved the whole concept, especially getting the writer's perspective. Paul Sheldon, best-selling author, gets rescued (kidnapped) by his number one fan Annie, and because that's not enough, he then finds out that she's out of her mind. So basically he dared killing off Misery, a character from his series, so obviously he has to rewrite the whole book... I just loved the writing process and it kind of felt like watching King writing this story. This may come as a surprise, but it get's quite brutal. And absolutely horrifying. Another perfect King. -

This gripping thriller had me...
This gripping thriller had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It is masterfully written (obviously, it is written by THE Stephen king, after all) and the plot never slows. I absolutly recommend this to anyone, who has the stomach for bloody thrillers.
