Worth every second reading it!

As a trans-person myself, I couldn't wait to hold this manga in my hands. It's really great how the author displays Ryo's gender dysphoria - I truly could relate to it. Also, I really like the story behind it and the balance of topics. It's super gripping and not over the top at all. It's kind of a masterpiece for me. I can't wait for the next volume, and I must say, this really is my new favorite manga. I highly recommend it.

I really liked how the author portrayed the protagonist’s gender dysphoria. The story did move along a bit fast in some parts, but this series only has 4 volumes, so it didn’t bother me too much. The characters are well written. The art style might not be for everyone, but the drawings are definitely high quality. Really exciting premise. I’m looking forward to reading the other volumes

Ein besonderer Manga! (englische Ausgabe)

"Boys run the riot" erzählt die Geschichte von einem Jungen, der manchmal nicht als solcher wahrgenommen wird. Ray ist nämlich trans. Er ist in der Oberstufe und lernt dort einen neuen Freund kennen. Zusammen wollen die beiden ein eigenes Modelabel gründen. Klingt nach einer gewagten Idee, aber man selbst zu sein ist sowieso nicht so einfach, wenn man unter dem gesellschaftlichen Druck steht. In dem Manga geht es um Identitätssuche und Leidenschaft, was mich unglaublich begestert hat. Ich freue mich schon auf die nächsten Bände. Aktuell gibt es im Original 4 Bände.
