One of the best book duology I read this year. I actually enjoined it a lot. The plot is interesting and most important without stupid holes or non logical events. The main characters are great but I also enjoined the side characters line. At some point at the second book I became even more exited about their story, then main love line, in a good way.

I liked the series so much!

I loved the first book and was shocked by it's end, so I really looked forward to the second book. And I was not disappointed! At the beginning I was not satisfied by the different POVs and the shift in character focus, but this soon settled and I thoroughly enjoyed this book as much as the first. The world is dark and twisted, the plot is not predictable and I loved all the main characters (for their own distinct reasons). I can highly recommend these two books. Ove of my favourites now!!!

The second installment in this series was a teeny tiny bit weaker than the first one, but I loved it all the same. I think it suffered from the multiple POVs, but I also wouldn't want to change them, because I thoroughly enjoyed them... Well I did like it very very much and the ending was amazing to say the least. I'm excited to read more of Rachel Gillig's books!

I already loved the first book in this duology, with its unique world-building and magic, but the second book is even better. I found it hard, at first, to switch through so many different POVs, but then it was very easy. The story is amazing, from the emotional connection to the plot, and I highly recommend it.
