    Unglaublich

es ist soooo eine gute Repräsentation von der Verwirrtheit als Jugendlicher. Dazu kommt noch der unglaublich schöne und berührende Schreibstil von Alice Oseman. Absolute Empfehlung

    My new favourite book

I just finished reading this book and I kinda felt like I should write a review about it, even though I've never written done that before, because it overall just made be kinda happy. The writing style is easy to understand (important for me, since I'm not an native english speaker) and it is a fantastic mix of a cute and kinda realistic teenage story, great aroace representation (which really is still rare to find in any form of media) and somehow also a bit of a learning resource? I'm not sure how much allo people may connect with this book, but I guess for everyone out there, who is aspecs or questioning, this is an absolute gem :)

This is exactly the Type of Representation we need!

A wonderful love letter to friendship and found family! "Loveless" is a fantastic novel which portraits all different kinds of love and shows that one is inherently more or less important and human than the other. One of Alice Oseman's finest novels, it was a delight to read.

cute and really nice book to read

I read this book because I loved the Heartstopper books so much and obviously had to buy other books from Alice Oseman too. This was the first one I read and I loved it. Especially after reading the book, I still kept thinking of it. Her story from the beginning to the end was just so lovely. Finding her true self while trying to not loose her friends in university is stunning. Alice Oseman fan --> must-read

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

Who even needs Romance when there is the love of friendship?

In a world, where everyone seems to be obsessed with romance and sex, Georgia struggles to find her place. She finds herself confronted with the fact, that she doesn’t feel attracted to anyone - she is aromantic asexual. But love is not only found in a romantic relationship. A very important novel about asexuality. With a careful and clever choice of words, Alice Oseman makes the letter A in the LGBTQ+ community clear for everyone. Her choice of writing – sometimes hilarious, sometimes rather serious – made me relate easily to Georgia and her friends. A heartwarming story about self-acceptance and friendship

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

    Love Beyond Norms

And again, Alice Oseman has managed to write an excellent book. A gentle, honest story about finding one’s identity. Georgia fights through doubt, chaos, and quiet fear until she realizes that love does not have to be prescribed or normalized. It belongs to her, entirely and individually. The novel makes asexuality and aromanticism real themes that touch, rather than explain. In the end the message remains: Platonic closeness can be just as strong, deep, and fulfilling as romantic feelings. Alice Oseman creates a warm, inclusive world with friends who are there for each other. The story is a consolation for anyone who sometimes feels alone, and at the same time it fosters understanding of how other love worlds work. A brave, empathetic ode to diversity and humanity. I also hope that as many people as possible will read it—people who identify as asexual and aromantic, or others who don’t identify that way—so they can develop a better understanding.

    Acing it

I dearly love this book! It made me cry, it made me grin, it made me feel seen. I adore the main characters and even more so their dynamic. It is touching to watch the found family made up of these deeply human, threedimensional people and the way all of them, but especially the protagonist Georgia, develope. The whole story, their behaviour, their actions and interactions are so utterly authentic, I was stunned. But most of all I can hardly put into words how much it means to me to follow along the story of someone who discouvers, she is asexual. The desperate attempts at finding love only to come to the realization that this is not one's path, this is not how she works, the struggle that comes with it and the ultimate acceptance. I do not know much representation of asexuality, all the more I'm glad that among the limited options is such a gem as this wonderfully written book. I would recommend it to anyone, queer or not, who wants to read an excellent piece of literature, who wants to read of selfdiscouvery and of friendship dynamics.

A magnificent piece of LGBTQIA+ representation

This book managed to overwhelm me in many ways, but all good ones. Luckily many things from the queer world are slowly seeping their way into mainstream media (just look at the amount of gay/sapphic/quuer romance books) but asexuality is still not talked about neraly enough. To have this whole book dedicated to the struggle of figuring out that maybe you don't love like the rest of the world and that is completely okay. I have never felt more seen by a book in my life and this piece of literature will always have a place in my heart.

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

Friendship is also a kind of love

Georgia is 18, has never kissed anyone and has never had a crush on anyone, while her friends are falling in love. Relatable so far? Good, because this book really touched my heart. It made me feel happy and seen. Whether you're asexual/aromantic or not, this book highlights the importance of friendship and platonic love, which is just as valid and important as romantic love. What I liked most in this were the characters and their development, especially Georgia, who got out of her comfort zone despite her anxiety - and now look at her thriving! Rooney was the most intreresting of them all. Upon meeting her for the first time she seemed confident and happy all the time, but that's far from the truth. I loved the scenes where she opened up to Georgia, but when she then fell back into old habits, Georgia was there for her. The bond they had was so well written. This books is everything. It's just great. I should have read it sooner but it's definitely one of my favourite books now.

The represantation we've wanted and still desperately need.

I have never felt this represented in any media ever. Alice Oseman wrote a story so true and important to so many people.I laughed, I cried, I read my favorite relatable moments out loud to my roommate; this just was everything I needed in a YA book. Also I love Sunil, he has my whole heart and I believe everyone needs a person like them in their lifes. <3
