...or should I say Ik hou van jou? Ali Hazelwoods debut novel and it is so good. Women in STEM meets fake dating meets grumpy x sunshine. I had the time of my life with this one. Sweet, funny and enjoyable. A feel-good book that will make you fly through the pages. Olive doesn't really believe in romance or long-lasting relationships for that matter, but her best friend does. So when Olive tells her best friend that she is on a date when in reality she is not, she panics and kisses the first guy she sees. Which just so happens to be Adam, a young hotshot professor and also a well-known ass. So when he agrees to keep up the ruse of dating Olive, she is more than positively surprised and also starting to hypothesize that maybe romance does exist.

This was probably one of the fastest times I got into a book. Not just because of the writing style, which sucks you in with its easy flow, but also because of the super immersive plot. Theres fake dating, work-based romance, a slight age gap and lots of other tropes that will get you into the story quickly. And even though it is a fast read there’s still the feeling of two characters knowing and loving each other deeply and I fell in love with these two straight away.
