A beautiful conclusion to the duology
I absolutely loved how everything comes together, the story is truly unique, and the atmosphere was once again absolutely gorgeous. I loved everything about it, but that last third of the book completely broke me. Definitely my favorite fantasy series, it's truly absolutely fantastic! -

• final installment of the "Stonewater Kingdom" duology • gothic romantasy • unique magic system • queen x knave • 2 POVs / first person narrator • found family • slow burn • brooding, yearning MMC • still in love with a gargoyle - thank u for asking || this book is a little slower than The Knight and The Moth, but that's the point - you read as Sybil, a depressed, unwilling queen, and as Rory, a knave whom lost all his memories. The writing style is still georgeos, the world still dark. I was on my tippy toes, ugly cried and wished certain character's deaths. so yeah, I had a fun time haha.
