No because this was so so CUTE!!
From the first meeting, over the fake dating trope to falling in love. This was adorable, really. A story about family, culture, belonging, remembering and love. This story showed how life has its good sides, but also a fair amount of challenges and things that don’t go according to plan. ‘Fake Dates and Mooncakes’ was an easy and fast paced read that honestly did feel like a fanfiction some points - but not in a bad way. There were a few aspects that for me personally, definitely could’ve been executed differently and perhaps with more detail but this is a short book and it seemed like, it was intended to be fast pasted. I’m gonna rate this 5 stars because of the enjoyment factor. I had a good time reading this and would pick up another book of this author for sure <3 -

Where should I start? I loved this book so much. It was sweet, funny, informative. While reading and rooting for Dylan and Theo, I learned so much about the culture. The festival. The mooncakes. -

Heartstopper!
Love wasn't on the menu but suddently it kinda was... The second book on my list of best books about fake dating and falling in love. Dylans and Theos story was such a fun and heartwarming (and heartbreaking) journey to read and I enjoyed every second of it. The characters are well written and even if the conversations are sometimes a bit cheesy that did not stop me from falling in love with this book. If you like HEARTSTOPPER from Oseman you will absolutly love this. -

When you're looking for a book with lots of domestic fluff, hurt/comfort and found family you got the perfect book right here. It's adorable without being too cheesy, the characters are absolutely lovable! I can't get over the fact that this book is like the dessert in the title! -

This book contains just the right amount of cosy romance. It is not overly dramatic, as most romance books tend to be. They get to know each other in a natural way and fall in love. I adore this book. It is very cute and wholesome.
