    Spicy queer sports romance

I absolutely loved this dual POV spicy queer romance. The characters were amazing and I could relate to their feelings, thoughts and insecurities. The spice was great and I wouldn’t have minded some more intimate scenes but I also absolutely loved the little moments in between where they worshipped each other. I have been very absorbed with heated rivalry lately and “first to finish” has been a great fix for my withdrawal symptoms. I can really recommend this wonderful queer romance!

    I had a great time!

A cute queer sports romance in formula 1. Both characters have enough space to grow and lern a good way to communicate with each other. I really liked, that the races and all around motorsports was pretty accurate and not only there as a placeholder for drama but for the sport itself. I had a wonderful time reading this and am quite exited for the next book in this series!

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

The Track Isn’t the Only Thing Heating Up

If Formula 1 romance is the new hockey romance, then I guess I’m officially along for the ride—even if hockey will always have my heart. But Pole Position? It delivered exactly what I wanted: high stakes, emotional tension, and a cute romance. Set in the fast-paced world of F1, this book gives us rivalry, secrecy, and the ever-present pressure of being in the spotlight. One of them is desperate to keep his private life exactly that—private. The other? Loud, confident, and completely unafraid to push all his buttons. Sparks fly, tempers flare, and somewhere between the podiums, press conferences, and backroom politics, their feelings become impossible to ignore. The romance? Angsty, forbidden, and so, so good. It’s that classic I-want-you-but-I-can’t-have-you tension, mixed with genuine vulnerability and deep emotional moments. One second, they’re fighting, the next, they’re sharing a look that could set the entire track on fire. Now, do I love hockey romances more than F1 romances? Maybe…okay yes!. But this book proved that queer sports romance in F1 is absolutely something I need more of.

    Buch (Taschenbuch)

    Kian and Harper

Pole Position by Rebecca J. Caffery is a queer Formula 1 romance. This is the story of Kian and Harper.   Kian is well established in the F1 world and one of the best drivers in the league. He is a golden boy, and a lot of people compare him to his dad who was also an F1 champion, but that puts a lot of pressure on him he doesn’t want. He is a very understanding, organized and passionate person and I liked him a lot.   Harper is a new F1 driver, and he is living his life party and scandals included. After another driver gets injured, it’s his chance to prove his potential and he becomes the teammate of Kian. Harper is definitely a bit unhinged and very vital and that loosens up the plot a bit and I liked that.   I absolutely love F1 romance, and this story brings something new to the table as I’ve never read a story with two teammates. It brings a whole new insight perspective and I really liked that. At first, Kian and Harper have this rivalry going on, but they spend a lot of time in close quarters and slowly get to know each other. The romance is definitely slow burn, but that made me appreciate the story more. Kian and Harper are such a cute couple, and I really enjoyed their story.   Overall, if you also like F1 romances, Pole Position is a must-read. 4,5 stars.   (ARC kindly provided in exchange for a review.)

    Don't mess up my tempo

Fun, fast-paced and fiery Rom-Com. While I did read through this book fairly quickly, the character and overall plot lacked a bit of depth for me personally. But that is not to say, I didn't find this enjoyable. It definitely was enjoyable! So if you are looking for an entertaining but quick read, this is it!

    Sparkling Spicy Racer Romance

One of my favorite queer racing books. The chemistry and dynamic between both characters is beautifully written and feels absolutely real. If yo've loved the first book of this series you have to read the second, too. Rebecca J. Caffery did an amazing job in portraying her characters and their thoughts and worries (and of course the sizzling spice between them).

    The perfect mix

This was such an entertaining, cute und spicy F1 romance! It's for everyone who's deep into the F1 (Romance) rabbit hole (like me) and everybody who's just looking for a quick and entertaining romance. The chemistry between Kian and Harper was soooo good and the development of their relationship from teammates/rivals to friendly to romantic partners didn't feel rushed or unnatural. I giggled, gasped and felt with the characters through their hardships and downfalls. I can just full-heartedly recommend!

Lovely Sports Romance for in between!

I'm normally not much of a sports romance person but Kian and Harper won me over! The way those two just can't seem to get along but still can't stop being around each other was so entertaining to read! Even as someone who has zero knowledge of F1 I was able to pick up the story easily. The way the characters are more than they first seem to be was so interesting to read. Kian struggling under, even tho he is the golden boy of the Formula 1 world and Harper having such a heavy past to deal with. The way both of them slowly open up to each other and reveal more and more of themselves melted my heart! For everyone who likes queer romance or sports romance generally!

    MLM meets Formula 1

I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. I recently got into watching Formula 1 and wanted to read a romance within this environment! I had so much fun with the characters, the book is a tad predictable, but I had a great time.

a cute rivals to lovers romance for in between

A cute romance for in between! I don't usually read a lot of romance books, so this was kind of an out of the comfort zone read for me. Still, I quite enjoyed most of it. I loved the formula 1 setting, even though i don't really know anything about formula 1. The romance itself felt a little bit forced to me, they were more horny than anything, and communication between the two barely happened at all. I'm a sucker for a good rivals to lovers, which this definitely was. The one thing that really threw me off was that i felt like character development didn't really happen at all, their characters just suddenly were developed, without it being clear when and why that happened. All in all, this was not the best thing i've read ever, but a nice little palette cleanser.
