The Tea Dragon Society

I can’t describe how much I love this graphic novel here. It combines a cute and short story with an utterly adorable art style – and when I say utterly adorable I truly meant that; I just couldn’t stop gushing over it. Especially those cute little dragons have stolen my heart.

This graphic novel is just adorable and lovely. The art style is beautiful, homely and comforting and it leaves you with a soft, fluffy feeling. I'm giving it 4 stars because I judge graphic novels primarily on the art style and on creativity and for that the high rating is well deserved even though there wasn't much plot.

I find myself returning to this story every time I go through a tought time. It depicts so much unwavering, gentle love among its characters, that I simply cannot help but to believe in true love and my own value, in sickness and in health, after reading it. 5/5 stars, pure art.

Was ein super süßes Buch über Freundschaft und Tee! Ich habe das Buch innerhalb von zwei Tagen beendet und liebe es so sehr. Dadurch, dass das Buch in die vier Jahreszeiten eingeteilt ist, konnte ich das richtig gut auf zwei Tage (Frühling und Sommer / Herbst und Winter) aufteilen und hatte ganze zwei Tage Spaß beim Lesen. Es ist eine graphic novel und ich übertreibe nicht, wenn ich sage, dass die Illustrationen, besonders zu den Teedrachen, mehr als gelungen sind. Sie sind soooo unglaublich süß! Die Charaktere sind ebenfalls sehr süß gestaltet worden; Das Buch ist einfach nur niedlich und süß! Ich bekomme nicht genug von den Bildern. Die Geschichte ist eher „leicht“ und „sanft“ und geht somit nicht in die Tiefe, was ich für Zwischendurch absolut in Ordnung finde. Kinder haben an diesem Buch sicher auch ihren Spaß. Trotz der Kürze kann man einiges über Freundschaft lernen und freundet sich selbst mit den Charakteren in dem Buch an. Ich werde mir nach Band 1 definitiv auch noch die anderen Bänder kaufen, damit ich alle davon habe. Die Teedrachen haben es mir einfach angetan! Ein super süßes Buch, was einfach im Buchregal stehen sollte. Meine Bewertung ist ganz klar wieder 5 von 5 Sternen!
