Together We Rot

Three stars seemed too little, however too gracious. Let's pretend it's 3,5! Overall I liked the story, I'd love to read more Horromance, but this isn't one that will linger long on my mind. The concept was great, the characters okay, didn't actually see the love between them, but I let it slide for plot reasons. A seemingly sentinent forest? awesome. A cult that feeds said forest with their kids? hell yeah. Unfortunately, I'm left with many questions that could have been avoided if we had stuck to one theme. Still, there had been many pretty imagines, I kinda dig that there isn't a fairytale ending and I do hope the author has written some more horror. If this has been a debut as I read around here, I bet she has improved! That being said, it's a fun read, but don't get the hopes up too high.

I loved it from the start and could not put it down. It has a lot of mysteries, psycho and a huge plot so if you love a good, short but deep horror story I recommend highly. I agree there isn’t much romance representation but the scary part is way more interesting so it didn’t really matter to me
