Reckless TikTok Made Me Buy It! The epic romantasy series not to be missed

I read this book in one day and could not stop! The cliffhanger was definitley well placed and I am so excited for the third book.

Kai's first mission as the Enforcer of the kingdom is to bring Paedyn Gray. Paedyn Gray who's running from the kingdom where she once slept. And suddenly she's wanted by everyone, dead or alive for what she's done. As Kai finds Paedyn, he remembers what it's like to let yourself feel too much. They should be enemies but there's too much on the plate. Kai wants to take Paedyn back but suddenly the plan changes. Facing some trouble together, the two make their way home to Ilya. And the new king has very special plans for Paedyn...

I already really liked Powerless, the first book in this series, but this one exceeded all my expecations for it. This really screamed enemies-to-lovers again, and I loved seeing both Kai, Paedyn, and Kitt evolve into their arcs. It is, of course, long from over yet, but it is a must-read for readers with a penchant for the trope listed above, and also for fantasy lovers. The tension had me shaking by the half of the book, and it got even better (or worse) by the end of it. A 5/5 from me, and I can't wait to read more into this series.

Reckless by Lauren Roberts is the second book in the Powerless trilogy, it deals with Paedyns escape through the giant desert in the middle of Ilya and Kai´s mission to capture her since he is now officially the enforcer of the new King Kitt. In comparison to the first book in the series Reckless is paced slower and much more character driven. I didn't mind it at all, I really liked getting to know Kai and Paedyn especially after I started to understand their actions. Besides I really think that the events and character development of the second book are extremely important to the third and last book in this series. The banter between Kai and Paedyn was top notch just like in the first book. Even though they constantly try to kill each other one can really tell that they care for each other and want the other person in their life. Therefor its heartbreaking to see that they find themselves on opposite sides and are forced to fight each other until one of them is dead or imprisoned. I really enjoyed being back in this world and getting to know these characters on a deeper level. I can’t wait to see how the series continues in the next book and if Kai and Peadyn are getting their well earned happy end. I'm in love with this series and I would absolutely recommend this series for every romantasy lover or readers who want to get started on a fantasy book. #enemies to lovers #2nd chance #one bed #slow burn

I'm dying. || If you expect some mystic, magical sequel, you'll get disappointed. If you live for the sizzling, romantic Paedyn/Kai scenes, you'll get spoiled and feeded. I ate every crumb. The vibe is completely different, but gosh, I love the characters.
