Ich liebe dieses Buch, vor allem die Charaktere. Die kurzweilige Erzählweise zieht einen komplett ins Buch und man kann es stellenweise nicht mehr aus der Hand legen. Ox ist so ein liebenswerter und toller Hauptcharakter, dass man gar nicht anders kann als von Seite 1 an mitzufiebern.

I was not prepared

There I was, thinking I'm about to read a cozy, gay werewolf fantasy book with lots of found family and a bit fighting (for love). What I got was enough angst to make me tense as a wolf ready to pounce at its prey. So much angst. But it’s so damn worth it.

The Green Creek Saga feels like coming home. "Wolfsong” was the first TJ Klune book I read and is still my secret favorite. There are only a few other found families that can compete with the Bennetts. Emotional, queer and sometimes tragic, “Wolfsong” is a werewolf story first and anything else second, but it also deals with complicated/toxic father relationships and finding a place to belong—like many of Klune’s other works. Once you'll let the Bennetts into your heart you'll carry them in it forever!
