This is a very intense story! I loved the whole atmosphere, the setting at Yale university, the secret societies and our main character Alex Stern. Alongside her, we discover dark secrets of the schools past and present. I would advise you to check the trigger warnings. -

Totally twisted!
The athmosphere of Ninth House captured me from the very first page. The way Leigh Bardugo illustrates the Campus of Yale in this book is so detailed an vivid, it really doesn't let you go. Alex Stern as a protagonist is unbelievably interesting and I couldn't help but fall in love with her. The way she interacts with the people around her, both those she likes and doesn't like is… Let's just say I had a lot of fun, following her around New Haven. The book as a whole is a bit discombobulated and I had some trouble at the start but it really wormed its way into my heart.
